Special Application Training Solutions (SATS) is a school designed to take you from the basics all the way to becoming one with nature and able to live off the land in a survival way.

SATS has been developed by Steve Matte as he saw there was a lack of connection with our planet and the way the youth is not challenged physically to become more resilient in our current world. He built this school to reconnect with our natural sense of being by immersing ourselves in a survival situation and embracing life as it was before technology.

A little more about Steve, he served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Combat Engineer for 20 years, deployed to numerous countries to serve as a Counter Improvised Explosive Device Disposal Operator. He was also a member of the Elite unit JTF2  as a Special Operations Explosive Technician. He was the lead winter survival instructor for 2 Combat Engineer Regiment providing primitive teachings and flora usage.
